Hey everyone, welcome back to Siesta Key and Beach Bum Charters! I know we've been very quiet over this past winter season and we are excited to bring you the latest updates just in time for the spring kickoff! We have been diligently working along with the area to finish up storm recovery, find new ways forward, as well as doing some business revamping, and trust us, you are going to love it!
We are excited to share with you some new offerings available for your groups! We have added more focus to in house bareboat charters. This has been a goal of ours that will allow for larger groups on our boats, at a better price by keeping those services in house. We have also launched our new home page! If you haven't seen it recently, be sure to swing by, check that out and let us know what you think! We also re-launched our charter merch line that can be seen on the new shop link on our website!
If you guys have a favorite boat, just know that boat are going strong and getting some improvements! Our spring favorite The Tipsy Tiki has gotten an interior upgrade! She is look good and feeling fine as she is ready for new 2025 adventures with all our favorite customers! The Tiki Boats Tikin as they say, we are also happy to say that the spring schedule is filling fast, so be sure to get your reservation in early this year to ensure your desired trios and options! We are ready for another season of new Siesta Key memories and experiences! Also be sure to ask about availability at our newly launched air BNB 5 mins from SRQ airport. A nicely appointed and maintained 4 bedroom 3 Bath pool home with hotub and sleeping up to 7. Who knows, maybe in house transport will be next! We just may be Beach Bum Vacations next year, just kidding...or...
Many of you have been guests with us to Midnight Pass and have learned about it and its history in the area. Well Hurricane Milton was a rough go for the area but it did bring one small upside, it was gracious enough to blow Midnight Pass back open! For the first time in 35 years, MP as the locals call it is flowing and already making significant impacts in the back bay area to water clarity, color and quality! We couldn't be more excited about the implications, but she isn't out if the water yet so to speak...it is a live pass and changing by the day....already it is in danger of closing and while it has been confirmed that the local gov plans to dredge and maintain it, so far that has yet to occur. Be sure to get your MP bookings in to see it before it does! Hopefully we will take charge and prevent that, but you never know. Check it out, you won't be disappointed, it has quickly become one of Siesta Key's hottest new boating attractions, and we are in prime location being only 15 minutes from the pass!
Evie's Spanish point, just down the bay from the midnight pass entrance has also been remodeled due to storm damage and is back and better than ever! Newly relaunched as Evie's On the Bay, with a menu and terrific drinks available just 20 mins from our dock and 5 minutes from midnight pass. We have lost one of our favorite stops, at Olearys Tiki bar, we are tracking they intend to reopen, but have yet to bring an update and are currently closed indefinitely. We wish them well and look forward to seeing them back in action and can't wait to support them again after their eventual reopening!
